A is for Athens!

Susan and Kay have completed their alphabet book about Athens, Georgia.  Their concept of a multigenerational book designed to be enjoyed by both “little” readers and “big” readers will make the perfect book for every reader!

If you love Athens, if you have ever visited Athens, or if you have lived in Athens, you’re going to love this book.  It includes everyone’s favorite places.  You’ll enjoy visiting them again through this picture book – and maybe you’ll learn a little something about the Classic City that you didn’t already know.

Each alphabet letter is illustrated with a “letter picture” from Athens and information about some aspect of the Classic City.  Each page includes a section for our “little readers,”  our youngest generation just learning about our city.  Additional information for the “big readers” gives a more in-depth explanation of the places being described. The print is different for “big” and “little” readers, making the book easier to read and understand.  Each page also has a “Classic Clip” – a trivia fact related to each topic.  The “letters” are all located in the Athens area and are identified for you at the bottom of each page.
